arranging objects, making them form different words and then photographing the result. it’s a simple idea – and i love it! by we make words.
feathers, eggs and swans.. nobody tells a story like tim walker. this editorial is from the march issue of vogue uk. the last picture however is by ryan mcginley. i thought of it while putting together the first three and.. isn’t it a little scary how well some pictures go together? in this case – was it a coincidence or was walker in fact a little inspired by mcginley? what do you think?
a young striptease artist (anna karina) decides to get pregnant, and when her lover (jean-claude brialy) refuses to do the job, she recruits his more-than-willing best friend (jean-paul belmondo)…
energy is such a fascinating thing. an abstract feeling more powerful than most actions and incidents. covering your mind like a haze, making things slightly dizzier yet so much closer. a presence so intrusive it actually makes you feel it physically – heart beating faster, body shivering.. it’s the ultimate illusion of eternity.
but nothing lasts forever, and neither does energy.
perhaps thats why it’s so amazingly seductive.
i found the loveliest editorials today! will post them later though, since i don’t really have the time now.
